It will be the fourth participation of the FN Speed Team after its debut in 2019, having experienced the passage of the race through South America and the new stage in Arabia, which faces its third year as host country. This year it will once again be one of the reference structures due to the number of vehicles it will put on the track, with four motorcycles, three trucks and six SSVs. The objective will be the same as all editions: for all drivers and co-drivers to complete the course and reach the finish line in Jeddah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The team:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n On the one hand, in the motorcycle category, the experienced Joan Pedrero, who faces his fourteenth edition and who contrasts with Marc Calmet, who will do so for the second time after his grand debut in 2021. There will also be the Chilean Patricio 'Pato' Cabrera , with 7 dakars in his record, and the Bolivian Daniel Nosiglia, a driver with great potential who will fight to enter the top ten after falling short in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the SSV category, which is the one with the greatest representation, the team will put a total of six vehicles on the track. The only representative in the T4 category will be Ga\u00ebl Queralt, who will relive the Dakar experience after his debut in 2021 and after a season in which he has done many kilometers and in which he has been proclaimed Spanish Champion in T4. The Girona native will be paired with Sergi Brugu\u00e9, who will accompany him aboard the Can-Am Maverick X3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The other five will be light prototypes that will participate in the T3 category. Santi Navarro and Marc Sol\u00e0 will return to surf the desert dunes together after an intense year of racing in which they have managed to become European champions in T3 and runners-up in the world. It will be the fourth Dakar for Santi and the seventh for Marc, who has four of them on a motorcycle. From Ecuador there will be the duo formed by Sebastian Guayasamin \u2013 who moved to the SSV category in 2021 after several years in cars \u2013 and Ricardo Torlaschi, with a long track record as a navigator in both cars and trucks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n One of the new features is the brand new incorporation of the tandem formed by Merc\u00e8 Mart\u00ed and Margot Llobera, who will not be alone in this adventure. They will debut in the Dakar in a 100% female structure in which girls will also be in charge of logistics, coordination and mechanics. Also in T3, the Colombian Javier V\u00e9lez will face the rally for the second time accompanied by his compatriot Mateo Moreno, who has an important motorcycle career, and they will try to reach the finish line after abandoning 2021 that forced them to finish in the Dakar Experience .<\/p>\n\n\n\n And the team's rookie will be Jordi Segura, who will fulfill his dream of competing in this Rally at the age of 55.
